2023 Re-cap
Look how fast time has passed by. Personally, it feels like it was just 2022. Everyday was 2022, and that was the year in which we were all living in. Now it’s 2024, and 2023 felt as if it just slipped by.
But, that doesn’t mean that I don’t feel accomplished. I remember starting off 2023 thinking:
This’ll just be another typical, boring year
Me
However, that wasn’t the plan. Instead, 2023 turned out to be one of the best years of my life, and if not, the best year of my entire life for what I was able to accomplish, fulfill, and achieve in the span of just a few months. I may not have known it then, but I know that now.
What About You?
I could continue rambling on about how great my year was, but nobody cares about that. What matters here is how your year went.
How was 2023 for you? Was it good, bad, OK? Could it have been better, and what exactly would that have been and why?
We can not brush by these things because they matter so very much. The more you attempt to hide pain and suffering, the harder it’ll come back to bite you.
The truth is, not everyone can sing the same song. That’s fine. The real gold in this scenario is what you choose to do in response to all this pain, suffering, and struggle. Will you opt for a comfortable environment that weakens you day-by-day, or a painful and difficult environment that forces you out of your comfort zone and tests your physical and mental limits?
Face It
You have goals, and you want to accomplish those goals. If you choose to do things that go against that, then you’ll never reach it. You will have to do things that you won’t wanna do to reach success.
If you want to make this year your best year yet, you are going to have to work for it.

2024
Now, it’s present-day. Hopefully all of you had a wonderful New Years Eve, and New Years in general.
It’s time to do something. It’s time to take action.
Alongside many others, nearly everyone wants this year to be their year. Funny enough, it’s like that every year. For that reason, I’m going to give you something that will change your perception of New Years, and the yearly resolutions that people make every, single, year.
What Are Your Resolutions?
Before we take a look at your resolutions this year, we need to first look at last year. What resolutions did you make, and did you accomplish them? Maybe one of your resolutions was to make your first $10,000 and finally show your parents your financial capability and that you aren’t so much of a liability after all. In the end, were you successful, or did you fail -or not even try- like every other year?
Maybe that’s a bit harsh, but you have to come to terms with reality. No one is coming to save you, and the only one that can do that is you.
Now, let’s take a look at this year’s resolutions. What are they?

“The Extremely Long List to Cure Your New Year Resolution Failures”
Actionable Step
1) I want you to list (by hand) every single one of your resolutions, whether it’d be 5, 10, 20, 50, or even 1000. What are you looking to accomplish? Be general here and don’t get too specific; that’s for another day.
2) After doing that, I want you to ask yourself whether or not if you are seriously capable of making that goal a reality come-true. Whatever your answer is, keep that goal there. Don’t highlight it, and -especially- don’t remove it.
3) Lastly, I want you to rate and order each one of your resolutions according to significance. What matters more than the other?
From there, you should have a full list of resolutions in order of what matters most and what still matters, but doesn’t compare to other goals.

With this new list of yours, I want you to hang it. Print it (if you didn’t write it by hand), and hang it on your window, door, desk, wall, or really anywhere where you’ll see it everyday and will constantly be reminded of those goals.
Now, you will be reminded of your yearly resolutions, all year. Of course, this won’t guarantee that you accomplish everything that you want, but it’s a start. And if you are reading this as early as I’m writing this post, then you should have plenty of time in advance.
How to Make Your Dreams a Reality
We all start somewhere. So, I want you to start with things that are currently in your grasp. Maybe your main goal this year is to buy your first car, but you have to start off by first finding an applicable job that are willing to pay a decent amount of money for you to get that first car of yours, while dealing with other external factors.
Take baby steps, and progress onward. The journey starts with the first step, and from there, it only gets easier (hopefully). Otherwise, you’re in for a treat, and the journey that you take won’t treat you nice the whole way there.
Either way, this is what you get. Maybe it’s not what you asked for, or wanted, but it’s what is expected of you in order to get what you prize so dearly.

Conclusion
Life is suffering, and the opposite of easy. If you want to get anywhere in life, you have to work and suffer for it. If you want this year to be your best year: you have to come to terms with where you are now, where you want to be in the future, and the steps you’ll have to take to get there.
This is post 1 of an entire series regarding your ultimate success this year. I too am apart of this journey, and I will not let you down if you are willing to do the same in return.
So, go get after it. You must stay strong, even if nobody is watching.
